Mark Kipp, owner of Chesapeake Transfer, LLC., is a native of South Point, Ohio, and a graduate from South Point High School and Collins Career Center.

Mark started his love of the moving business when he was just a teenager. He would go over the road with his oldest brother, John, who was an owner/operator for United Van Lines. During his summer vacation, Mark would assist his brother in loading and unloading the tractor trailer and John would patiently teach him all the tricks of the trade to make the move go smoothly.

Throughout the years, Mark has worked for several major van lines as a CDL driver and supervisor and has received many certifications and awards for safety, good driving record and no claims.

 In 2005, he realized his dream and started his own moving company. Mark handles all of the customer service calls, estimates and will be the driver on the day of the move. Melody, Mark's wife, assists him in the day-to-day operations of advertising, Web site design, paperwork and bookkeeping.
